Sweet Jesus. After finishing Untouchable I was both excited and reluctant to start Unforgivable, and it was with good reason. This series is completely blowing my mind. I was not sure what I was expecting to find in the pages of the second book but it sure as heck was a shock to my emotional system. Very few characters in a book can cause your brain to switch from love to hate and back to love. I found myself struggling at times to find my own forgiveness in my heart for Micha. This book pulled out all the stops with the tension and drama of both an intense love story, a love triangle and a suspenseful angsty romance.

Annalisa and Micha are finally together, he has freed himself from the reigns of the mob and is ready to start a life with the woman that changed his entire world. But when you are just that good at what you do, escaping the mob is not as easy as it seems. With the reality of what is at stake. Annalisa has a choice to make.

And although I seriously had some major issues with Micha's actions I just could not find it in my heart to let go of all the goodness we had seen in him. And I know that Ryan is serious swoonworthy material, but my heart was already in lock-down mode for one particularly f'd up hit man.

There is so much more to this book that would just give way too much away by even trying to get into minor details. But let's just say that their romance however intense had quite a detour that left you in knots through the start, middle and ending. You got moments of sheer happiness when you felt everything would just work out perfectly and before you could even process that tightness in your chest - it was all ripped away from you.

Annalisa loved a man that never thought he was worthy of her love, that he was too much of a monster to ever deserve her innocence. But what Micha never imagined was the lengths that Annalisa would go to because he was worth it.

Much in the fashion of Untouchable, we are not left with a cliffhanger ending. But there is enough hanging in the air to give you a gut feeling that this is far from over. And now that I am sitting here at two in the morning I am seriously having to restrain myself from starting book three. Part of me wants to enjoy the ending of this book for as long as possible before I put myself through the wringer with Untraceable because I have a feeling that this series might just go out with one heck of a bang.

The author does an amazing job of telling their story and bringing out so many emotions as you read the words on the pages. This is one of those books that you can just picture scene after scene in your head as you turn the page.

Unforgivable Untouchable Book 2 edition by Lindsay Delagair Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews

When I read the first book in Lindsey's series UNTOUCHABLE, I would probably still be mourning its ending had I not known that UNFORGIVABLE was waiting anxiously for me on my Fire.

I have read SO many books since I was gifted with the electronic reader, but this is the first series that I forged through voraciously, truly becoming emotionally involved with the characters Primary Possession, and after having read about a hundred books since this one, Micah, Lise, and the rest of the people who make up their lives are still among my favorites.

No matter who you are, if you are looking for a YA fiction love story that will satisfy for its struggles, surprises, and yes, sensuality, this is a MUST READ!
This book starts off where Untouchable left off. Micah and Lease have made it through the hard times and are going to be married. However the Mafia has different plans for them. Shortly after the wedding, Lease is captured and told that if she does not leave Micah D'Angelo will put a hit out on his entire family and of course convinced her that is something he would never be able to forgive her for. Lease being selfless like she is takes off without warning to Micah and decides to leave. I'm frustrated because of course Ryan is in the right place at the right time and goes along with her. Micah is heartbroken and cannot understand why she left him, and naturally starts to believe she left him for Ryan and turns to his old Mafia ways. Micah though has plans to get her back in his own unique way, but in the mean time Ryan is irritating because he constantly hits on Lease and I want to yell at my book and tell him to back off! You will find yourself mad at Micah in this book too, but like the greater writer Lindsay is, she makes it all come together perfectly in the end. So read this book, beware to be frustrated and then be ready to by book 3!
The religious themes in this book, like the first, were a little overpowering for me. I get that Leese's religion informs her choices and the way she lives her life, but it is so in your face - especially toward the beginning of the story. Putting that aside, I couldn't put 'Unforgivable' down. I considered it to be better than 'Untouchable'. The character choices and emotional reactions seemed to be much more realistic and raw or perhaps just better written... I was really happy to see a lot more of Ryan in this book. He is such a good guy and I just adore his character! Leese going back and forth to L.A. for the show - I could take it or leave it.

The plot line is one we've seen before - girl leaves boy to save him/his family because she loves him SO MUCH! Obviously, she doesn't tell him the real reason and they're both heartbroken for a while trying to go on without each other until somehow their love/fate/God brings them back together and the truth of her sacrifice and love is revealed. Then, they face whatever came between their love together and stronger than ever. What made it new and refreshing was Delagair's writing and the emotional ride she brings the reader on. There are a few moments in this book, especially in the latter third, that were absolutely gut-wrenching. I was tearing up quite a few times, which doesn't happen too often when I'm reading so you know it's GOOD.

I'm glad it had a HEA, but after the false sense of security I had after finishing the first book, I know better than to assume all is well for Leese and Micah... and I'm still holding out a teensy little shred of hope for Ryan.
